New York is undergoing a massive shift in how Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) services are administered. The state is moving from hundreds of local Fiscal Intermediaries to a single statewide FI (Public Partnerships LLC, or PPL).
Key Dates
- Jan 1, 2025: Initial transition announcement and plan release.
- April 1, 2025: PPL begins onboarding agencies as "Lead Partners."
- July 1, 2025: County-by-county rollout begins for participant migration.
What You Need to Do
- Verify Your Data: Ensure your current FI has your most up-to-date contact info.
- Watch for the Mail: You will receive a formal notice when it is time to register with PPL.
